The Benko has been my main opening until Kramnik beat Topalov with the fianchetto. Nowadays it seems to be more popular again ever since Carlsen used it to beat Gelfand. Recently even Kramnik himself played it in the 2017 Isle of Man Tournament.

There are not many ways for white to force a draw in the Benko. Here are two examples:
